Creamy Kale Chips

You won’t be surprised to learn that we’re big fans of kale – the ultimate leafy green. So we’re excited to share a recipe that lets you indulge in your favourite movie and a bowl of chips – with kale chips, you get the crunch, and an anti-oxidant punch!

  • 2 bunches curly kale

Sauce Ingredients

  • 1 C Cashews, raw
  • 1 C water
  • 3/4 C Olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 T nutritional yeast
  • 2 T baobab powder
  • 2 T apple cider vinegar
  • 1 t Honey or coconut nectar
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • Rock salt to taste
  • Paprika to taste


Blend all of the sauce ingredients together until smooth. Clean the kale well and remove the hard stalks. Break into pieces and dip in the sauce. Make sure the sauce is well spread over the kale. Then place onto a baking tray in a low oven on 50 degrees centigrade overnight. Toss once to make sure all the bits are dry. Store in a sealed container for up to a month. Enjoy as a healthy, protein and fiber rich snack.
